The Literature Review of the Scientific Research, the Survey of Company Working Practices, and the Good Practice Guidelines were formally launched at an international conference in Lisbon, Portugal, on 20th-21st October 2005.

The conference aimed to raise awareness of MSD in telecommunications and highlight the means of preventing them through good working practices agreed in the context of social dialogue. Presentations included the findings of the different elements of the project as well as providing an insight into legislative developments at European level and the impact of technological change on the sector.
